These are images taken from the weekly Lalibela market. Hundreds of people gather to buy and sell animals, food, clothing, and drink. Goats and donkeys and all that come with animals are right along side blankets displaying grain and other food items. While at the market, we tried fresh white honey--- presented to us on a stick... along with bees! It was very good. We also tried the local beer; my companions thought it was tasty... I can only say that it was "interesting."
