After much Q&A we determined they were probably talking about some sort of muddy pond that you could stand up in. Told them that didn't count.<br /><br />Our biggest problem is that they would panic and freeze up and then start flailing when they were like 2 ft from the edge :-) They did one session of lessons and then we just tried to spend as much time in the pool as possible. Which is hard to do when you don't actually HAVE a pool :-) By the end of the summer they were doing really well. Still going to make them do lessons again this summer to improve the skills.
